my one-night stay at the cottage was fantastic. room 3 was spacious with a lovely four-poster bed and plenty of teas and coffees. the mini fridge was a great addition for convenience. i loved that it’s an adult-only guest house, making it peaceful. also, having a contact-free check-in process was super easy.

Had a great 2-night stay with friends! We loved the short walk to the lake and fantastic breakfast options. Highlights were the room’s cleanliness and the friendly service. Enjoyed visiting the local shops and hopping on the open-top bus for a scenic ride. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!
One night was noisy with other guests, disrupting our sleep, which was a bit disappointing.

The highlight was the friendly staff and the delicious breakfast, especially the chocolate muffins. Unfortunately, the small room was quite hot, even with a fan provided. The cleanliness left something to be desired, particularly in the bathroom, which had a musty odor. Breakfast was also disappointing as the food arrived lukewarm, detracting from an otherwise pleasant morning experience.

Windermere is a foodie’s paradise! The Hungry Goat Café whipped up the most scrumptious brunches I’ve ever had, and I can’t stop raving about the cozy charm of The Queens Pub just a hop away, perfect for a cheeky pint after exploring. Plus, my room was a delightful hideaway with fab bathroom amenities!
Now, I did have a bit of a chatterbox situation with noisy neighbors. it felt like their gossip was pouring through the walls! And with a tight squeeze in the room, I had to juggle my suitcase like it was a game of Tetris. Still, it didn’t put a dampener on my stay!

Just a great match for a lightning stop in Windermere with good price-value balance. The hosts were friendly and helped carry our bags up the stairs, which was a nice touch. Make sure to ask about the breakfast options in advance to avoid any surprises.

During my stay, I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with choices that included tasty bacon and scrambled eggs. The welcoming atmosphere made mornings more pleasant. I particularly appreciated the easy access to local shops and restaurants, which added to my experience.
The mattress in my room needed replacement, which affected my sleep. a more personalized greeting would have enhanced my overall experience.
